As usual, the jay isn't going anywhere anyway, so she dropped by for a photoshoot

Garrulus glandarius - because this is the Latin name of the Euroasian jay, is a very common sight in the place where I often hang out. This park bench has become a mecca for all species of birds in the area, mainly due to feeding.

They do not appear only in winter, but throughout the year, because although there is a lot of food in this period, there is no one that they love, i.e. peanuts.

The jay is one of the most patient and photogenic birds. Although she is very skittish, she willingly poses in a photo session, because she has known me for many months, maybe longer.

She will always get something delicious to eat and this is the magnet that attracts her. Sometimes he sits behind me in a tree and I feel like I am being watched.

Taking advantage of many opportunities, I did a photo session of this bird. She found a great place on a branch in partial shade, with a nice green background, perfect for posing.

From time to time he changes position and carefully looking at the surroundings to see if there is any threat. It is afraid of the magpie, which can chase the jay in flight until it drops its food in fear. Of course, the jay does it deliberately to get rid of the intruder on its tail.

Enjoy 😉
