The temperature early in the morning was only 8 degrees Celsius, so after the evening's 28 degrees Celsius, it was a bit of a shock.

Nevertheless, the rain stopped around 9 a.m., the sun began to appear, and everything returned to normal. Well, almost everything except the air temperature, which at noon was only 15 degrees Celsius.

But it was a great temperature for walks. We packed our granddaughter into the car, did some shopping, and then went for an hour in the forest. The result was astonishing, and the prospects for mushroom picking are promising, as there's a wide range of mushroom ages.

These will soon be included in the porcini mushroom soup. A bit extravagant and a bit debauched, but it's a once-a-year treat.
