Snails in action. They spotted a young tree mushroom and decided to start munching on it. I can't tell what kind of mushroom it is yet, as it's too young.

Today turned out to be a perfectly fine day for a walk. Not too cold, not too warm, and no rain - perfect.

The park and rose garden are undergoing extensive pre-weekend cleanup work. A team of Ukrainian gardeners has been weeding the roses. It must be said that they're doing a very good job.

The greenery in the park is still lush, I think even more so than in June. This little rain has been very helpful. Hopefully, it will continue to be so.

The birds have been fed, but for several days now, only sparrows have been arriving. Or rather, they're the ones who come because they live in the dense, thorny rose bushes near where I feed the birds.
