Near my place of residence, which is a concrete jungle full of skyscrapers and blocks of flats, there is a place where time has stopped.

This place is a popular destination for city dwellers for many reasons. First of all, it is relatively close, because the bike route, although not the easiest because there are a lot of uphill stretches in the forest, is about 10 km away from my house.

So it is not a huge distance, every healthy person can do it on a bike or even on foot. Secondly, the area I am talking about is mainly pine, spruce and beech forests. Surroundings give the impression that you went very far outside the city, and it's only 10 km.

Thirdly, the atmosphere of this place takes us from the city almost to the countryside and allows us to forget about the everyday hustle and bustle, smelly and noisy cars.

Almost like a village

This specific place is called "Rybaczówka". It is located in the forest among dense tall pine trees, oaks, beeches and spruces. In addition, the whole area abounds in ponds where you can fish.

The place is located on Gościnna Street, which is fully correct. Time flows slower here. In a small shop, we can buy basic products, relax on benches, and if someone wants to, they can light a barbecue.

In a seasonal house connected to a shop, there lives an elderly couple who open their hospitable gates at the beginning of spring, as soon as it gets warm.

The area is full of animals that walk freely among the walkers, not caring about them at all.

Goats, sheep, chickens, geese and a peacock walk here. The latter did not surprise, because he is completely tame and roams the area like the master of this land

It is a real attraction, because it arouses the interest of every newcomer who decided to rest on a hospitable street in an idyllic atmosphere. The weather is good, so tomorrow I will repeat my bike ride to this beautiful place.
