Today was a standard walk, nothing particularly strenuous. I can feel yesterday's trip to the Jura in my legs, especially my tendons. Besides having to bend down a lot to pick mushrooms (we picked a lot), I also took a photoshoot. With a heavy backpack and a basket full of mushrooms, it was a bit tiring.

But during today's walk through the park's forest, I continued to focus on finding mushrooms, and it paid off. I found new species of mushrooms that I hadn't seen in the park before, or maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough.

And here's one of them. A giant skullcap, still very young. If no one vandalizes it, in a few days I'll try to take photos of the more impressive fruiting body. Right now, it's about the size of a tennis ball.

The bird feeding station is still deserted. I'm starting to lose hope that any birds will return. I'll check back later this afternoon, maybe a bird will show up.
