
Albatrellus confluens - Cap 30 to 150 mm in diameter, hemispherical or irregularly round, flaky at the edges. Cream, apricot surface, sometimes with an orange, red-brown, red-brown tinge; dull, cracked in the dry period.
Tubes up to 3 mm long, short, tapering, white.
Very small, round pores; first white, then cream.
Stem 30 to 60 mm high, 20 to 25 mm thick, short, not very pronounced, central, eccentric or lateral; white, sometimes with apricot, rusty shade and spots.
Flesh, fleshy, non-slagging, white, cream-colored; pink when drying. Smell weak, pleasant; bitter taste.
Occurrence: on the ground, all over Poland, in coniferous and mixed forests, most often in mountain spruce forests; grows in crowded clumps, 30-40 cm wide, which is why hats tend to be deformed and stems grew. From July to October.
Value: Young edible sporocarps.
