Before coming to Zanzibar, I heard that Kamaleons are a rarity and can only be found in nature reserves, and those that change colors are not found in Zanzibar. Well, we managed to meet one at breakfast, in our little house gesture, which is appropriately called - Green Garden. And our chameleon was changing colors so quickly that we didn't know where it was

This phenomenon, to put it mildly, stunned us. It changed colors in the blink of an eye, it was difficult to capture in photos. But we managed two different cameras. The effect was electrifying.

Our reptile changed color literally every second. It first appeared on the gravel surface with marbled camouflage and dark dots.

He later abandoned khaki masking in favor of dots only.

Then, in the final version, it became a green slimy creature resembling an aloe leaf, a cactus. Incredible metamorphosis

And if someone thinks that they are not aggressive - they are wrong. As I approached my hand, it opened its mouth and hissed like a snake. I suspect that it was a fake snake😉
