Hello again, hope you all doing great.
Today I wanna share about World Breastfeeding Week. As stated in the website of World Health Organization (WHO), this year's celebration takes in a very important theme, "Let’s make breastfeeding and work, work!". And the statement is very relevant for current time where most women are working moms. By the time the mother have to get back to work post-maternal-leave, it sometimes so difficult to ensure the newborn gets the exclusive breastfeeding. And it leaves mother have to choose between keep on breastfeeding the baby or keeping up with the work.

This theme focus on breastfeeding and work, providing a strategic opportunity to advocate for essential maternity rights that support breastfeeding – maternity leave for a minimum of 18 weeks, ideally more than 6 months, and workplace accommodations after this point. These are urgent issues for ensuring women can breastfeed as long as they wish to do so.

Maternity leave and workplace accommodations are critical features of environments that enable breastfeeding, along with essential supports from policy makers, employers, work colleague and community in general. Our effort today, a healthier generation ahead. Thank you :D
