Herbal pharmacy Hawthorn

Crataegus  commonly called hawthorn, quickthorn, thornapple, May-tree, whitethorn or hawberry.

The species are shrubs or small trees, mostly growing to 5–15 m (16–49 ft) tall, with small pome fruit and usually thorny branches.

The boom looks beautiful - in spring, when it blooms, and in the fall, when its fruit ripens.
In addition, it is a plant with exceptional health benefits.
It is especially recommended for people who are at risk for heart disease and high blood pressure.
It can also be used in pain and dizziness.
On the other hand, alcoholic hawthorn flowers are calming.

It is interesting to be especially interested in spring - when it blooms, and in autumn - when it comes to fruit.
Both flowers and hawthorn fruits are so beautiful that you can not walk the shrub indifferently when walking.
They can be eaten raw, but we can also dry them up. They serve mostly as a raw material for home-made products.

A treasury of vitamins and pectins

Valuable ingredients have been found in both hawthorn fruits and flowers.

The plant is very rich in vitamin C, which strengthens the body's resistance and effectively supports it in the fight against infections or colds.

We also find in it a lot of vitamin PP, which is involved in the transformation of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and also maintains the epithelium of the skin, digestive tract and nervous system in good condition.

Importantly, by widening blood vessels, vitamin PP improves brain function.

Natural medicine because that's what I'm interested in. I will give descriptions of plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables. You eat them on a daily basis but you don't know what they provide and what diseases they can help. But there will be those with whom you had no close encounters.
