Return to the house and speak with Toad once more after getting offended by the enormous sword, and witnessing the one remaining bridge leading to the Castle disappear.
After discussing all that occurred in Browser's castle with your friend Toad, use Mario to exit the palace.
You'll see that Toad will return to talk to Mario as he tries to leave this scene.
During a "Timed Hit," the player is required to press a certain button or any of the letter buttons (A, Y, Z, X).
After this conversation he will give you 1 mushroom.
The mushrooms are a good way to recover health points during the game!
