I am dreaming to see one day a social media platform based on blockchain that will replace old platforms domination and come with something friendlier, nice and useful for many people around the world!
Until now, I see Publish0x and Uptrennd growing very fast. However, the development Teams still have to perform lot of work to make it general accepted by traditional platform users. There are some features on these traditional platform that are not easy and affordable to be implemented, but I hope these new crypto based platforms will grow so much and one day it will be possible to improve it and make it very user friendly, by taking care much more about UI and UX.
What the new blockchain social media platforms really need is to be seen by some interested crypto venture capitalists and angel investors, as it happened with Minds.com some years ago, and get some financing to improve the platforms.
Let’s take a not very comprehensive look at few of the BSMPs (Blockchain Social Media Platforms) and the traditional ones. This research was made fast by myself and if there are some mistakes please help to correct them. Thanks!
Note: There are NO referral links attached to any of the platforms described below. I only put some links to my profiles, just in case you want to pay a visit there.

One important aspect I’ve noted, regarding down voting feature, all professional platforms that have respect for members and for themselves, do not have downvoting feature, which is a kind of subjectivity related to human beings, as Jesus Christ told once in the history: “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her!” So, how can an unqualified person judge the articles written by someone who is professional? That is illogical. Even qualified judges have put in prison and killed millions of innocent people! However, each platform creator has his subjective reasons to keep this feature on the platform, but those who are professional will change this, after realizing how bad is for their platform’s reputation.
As for Publish0x Community, it would be nice if you make an effort and go to https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.publish0x.com and post there some thoughts about this platform of the future!
