A few weeks ago, I created an account on Medium just to see what it offered. After a post here from someone, I cant remember who, probably PVM, I got curious...

As it turned out, my curiosity was met head on with rules and regulations. But that wasnt until AFTER I had added a link for people to send tips. I didnt know that you needed a special place for this, because no one mentioned it in their review of the site...Im looking at you, whomever recommended the site.

But that wasnt the end of it.

I decided to see about making money on the site, and a person can do so, by inviting users who pay a membership, and by readers reading your content. The only issue, and for me is a big issue, is you need to add your tax information.

I didnt know about this until AFTER my first introduction post. I wrote it, and looked more into the site to see how it functioned and how I could get more eyes on it. Then, I read the rules...

If you dont add your tax info, you wont get paid...simple. 

I decided to go ahead and delete the app, and because of a simple thing like not wanting to add my tax info, because I am not in favor of the IRS or any other government agency tracking me, I would like to tell you all here to please be aware that you must add your tax info.

Look, I am at fault for posting without knowing the details by reading the rules BEFORE doing so.

This post is just for information on Medium. If you dont mind government agencies tracking you, go ahead and add your tax info, and type away. You will probably get paid well for amazing posts.
