In January there was news that the giant Chinese thrift store, Walmart, was entering the metaverse after word got out that they were making their own crypto and NFTs.

Look, I know that Walmart "is" an American company, but shortly after the deaths of the founders, the children decided to sell the once American made store to a country that hates america.

But I digress...

Walmart is entering the metaverse to jump into the future with other companies who see profits there.

It is unclear when it will announce the crypto, and what the NFTs will be used for, but people are excited to see what it will being to the table...

Since I am living in Mexico, for a short while, then returning to the states, there is little to no excitement concerning this news.

I am not sure if the Walmarts here in Mexico will benefit from the crypto the company is making, or the NFTs for the metaverse, but we shall see.

That's it, and if you already knew about this, sorry for reminding you ..yes, it's painful to see american companies turn to china for anything, but just like my new pair of Walmart pants, the cheaper the better, I guess...
