Selfish People Steal, HONEST People Invest In The Future...

By CodyMac50 | MyCripticLife | 11 Aug 2023

It's always terrible reading about people who have been scammed, or phished, or "hoodwinked" or their money held ransom by a thief.

A while back I got an email telling me that google had a data breach, and my password for several accounts was published online.

At first I was unsure what to do, because the password was published for everyone to see and use, so I simply changed all of mine for every site.

But the info had already been used because I got several odd emails telling me things like, "Thanks for signing up..." And, "a login was detected..."

Whomever the person was, they got into a few accounts that had very little crypto, and started exchanging, and trading, and even made a failed withdrawal.

I still use that email, and password for websites that I think are scams, just so my more secure passwords, and emails are not compromised.

Why do I do this? Because if after I try and make a withdrawal on a new website, and am unable, even after I follow the rules, and whatever, I know they are a scam, and I can leave the site with no worries.

If the scamming website uses my password and email, they will only find useless accounts that were scams in the email that was hacked.

Normally, it takes a while to be able to withdraw any funds anyway, and that gives me plenty of time to look into the site.

If a site turns out to be legit, I then change the password. It's that simple. As of this date, I've only done this 2 times.

If a person doesn't care, and probably enjoys hurting animals, children, and old ladies, then he/she will be more than happy to steal your money, your accounts, and even your identity.

Obviously security is important, and we need to always take it seriously.

It isn't always easy to know who to trust, so I always take the safest approach to new websites.

But I do this because I am investing in the future.

We all know that the fiat system is going down and a more digital system is coming.

Being prepared for this, and protecting ourselves from hackers is also a part of it.

Thanks for reading.
