Twas the day after Christmas and all a town was a flutter.
Such a sight to behold. A sale here, return and exchanges there. Sorry, all sales final was the echo in the air.
Meanwhile I with one child and my dear wife with another, fighting over what size was right and why the children didn't get the newest video game. ( Which only came out today).
When what did I behold, but a jolly old man in red and a handful of stockings.
A step closer did I venture, to by chance or not, overhear the conversation of the employee and himself.
Stocking up for the next year was his reply to her questioning look.
And with a wink and a laugh that made his belly shake like a bowl full of jelly, he was off.
I looked to my wife and with a shrug announced "Who New"
With the curiosity that killed the cat, I mad a dash for the door.
Only to see a bright red truck filled to the brim with gifts and a license reading "Claus" And a loud voice still echoing in the air " Till next year and good shopping to you".
