In my household my kids and spouse are constantly playing games.  These games include things like fortnight, Pokémon and all kinds of games played on various social media platforms.

Personally I think this is a waste of time.  Other than the reward of accomplishment, which isn't always a bad thing, I feel that I could be well rewarded for spending time and in some cases real money on a game which is littered with advertisers paying the company and it's creators an immense amount of cash.

So here's what I have done.  I went on a search for games that earned me either real money or crypto.  My search has turned up a few limited options in terms of what I like to play and what I don't.  

My number one rule is I don't want to have to pay any real money.  My second rule is I want to see that I don't have to be in competition with anyone but myself, unless I choose to.

Here are the two game sites I have found so far that have lived up to those two rules.   And Yes, I do get referral credit for these links, but that's not the primary reason I share.  The primary reason is to prove that you can earn money from just playing games.

1.  Cointiply.com -

- I enjoy this site as a game time waster as it pays very slowly, however it has a huge range of games to play.  The two I play the most are the Arkadium bubble buster and Crystal Collapse.  Other games you can play include a variety of Majong styles, Soduku, word games and much much more. Cointiply.com also has a number of different options to earn a b it of extra cash, however that is not the subject of this post. 

2. Faucet Gamers.com --

  For me this is a new site that I am currently reviewing.  It was given high reviews by others when I did some research so I went ahead and signed up.  The basis of this game is simple and residual.   The game storyline is earning options are as follows:

Game Storyline: You will become the captain of a virtual ship/fleet.  Each ship/fleet begins to earn you a combination of inhouse credits known as Game Tokens (GT's) and Gold Credits (GC's).  The GT's and GC's are forms of virtual currency that can be either used to purchase upgrades to your fleet or left in place to be redeemed at a future date for crypto currencies.

Each ship you purchase has a specific sailing time, i.e. 30 days, 35 days, 40 days etc..  When these sailing times expire you will have the option to either rebuild the existing ship or purchase a new one.  The Higher the value of the ships/fleets the greater your income will be. 

The simple strategy is to purchase and upgrade the  virtual ships as fast as you can to the max value to receive the max income.  

To earn game GT's and GC's you have options to do surveys, watch videos or utilize their offer walls.  All of which will increase the speed that you can earn tokens and subsequently earn cash.

The Strategy I am using: 

•  Using the initial free "game tokens"  purchase the lowest level of  virtual ship , currently called a "Dinghy".
•  Do a minimum of 1-2  surveys daily , complete offers, watch videos ( open the link in a new window and let the videos run on a muted hardware, don't mute the video, to earn additional "game tokens" and "Gold Coins"
• Use your earned tokens to upgrade your Dinghy to the highest level you can.
• Continue to do surveys, complete offers etc. and purchase the next higher ship, upgrade that one and so on till you fill up the 8 slot's open.
• Let your GT's now accumulate till your first ships sailing time expires and purchase the highest ship you can afford.  Upgrade it as you can.
• Repeat the upgrade process each time a ships sailing time expires until all of your slots are filled with the largest ships on offer.

An alternative strategy you can use is simply to do the surveys, offers etc. to earn and save whatever amount you wish for the purchase of a ship of your choice.  For example;  A dinghy has a purchase price of 5k GT's and 30 days sailing power, but the next ship up is a sloop has a purchase price of 10k GT's and 35 days of sailing power.  So you might decide to hold your tokens until you have enough just to purchase the sloop.  Thus giving you more sailing time and higher earnings quickly.
