Probably not a big surprise if I said Florida is my favourite holiday destination as many people would probably agree but it isnt all just about the theme parks. I tend not to go to the theme parks much now. My reasons for enjoying holidaying in Florida arw:

(1) It isnt called the sunshine state for nothing. It is extremely hot and humid in July/August so probably not a goid time to go. However I have been in November and it is a nice 70+ Farenheit.

(2) Designer shopping. US and International  brands at heavily discounted rates.

(3) Things to do. Apart from theme parks you can do airboat rides, gator land or themed dinner shows. Ringling museum in Sarasota with art gallery as well.

(4) Beautiful beaches. I prefer the west coast Gulf of Mexico for the warm waters and great beaches the best of which is Siesta key in Sarasota.

(5) The theme parks all located within 10 miles of each other.
