Certain events over the last month or two have begun to seriously challenge both Trump and the Republicans.

First and foremost is the issue of Trump's additional trade taxes. Regardless of the outcome of these taxes, the constant court revisions and the resulting fragility are damaging the economy. Furthermore, the increasing cost of certain goods and the resulting significant reduction in hiring by small and medium-sized businesses are directly impacting Republican voters. This process has been causing distress to the Trump administration and the Republicans for some time. Another issue is the ongoing debate in California regarding the population change, known as "gerrymandering." Based on population changes, the parties change the House of Representatives' districts through votes from the state legislatures. In some states, a congressional resolution (state congresses) is sufficient, while in others, a popular vote is required. Trump's proposed California map change favoring Republicans was met with a separate defeat, with the overwhelming vote of the Californians favoring Democrats.

The other issue is healthcare reform. Aka Obamacare. Obama's insurance program for everyone, which he implemented with great difficulty and struggle, began to crumble during Trump's first term. While some improvements began to be made during the Biden administration, it was further shattered during Trump's second term. However, when problems arose in replacing it, the lack of alternatives created discontent among both Republican voters and those who benefited from Obamacare. If a serious alternative is not presented within a year, Trump and the Republicans will be seriously damaged in this process. The issue of government shutdowns has always been a duel. A showdown takes place until the last moment, and ultimately, both sides reach an agreement to avoid risking losses. However, this time, it was the longest shutdown in history and severely impacted federal employees economically. Furthermore, problems with air transportation and food delivery to those in need led to widespread public outrage. In this duel, public opinion polls clearly showed that Trump and the Republicans lost. Now, let's turn to the recent elections, and despite all sorts of alliances and pressure to use force, Democrats have achieved solid success, particularly in the New York mayoral and some governorships. There are many reasons for this, primarily the economy, but the outcome sent a strong message to the public and politicians for a year to come. This defeat rings warning bells for Republicans in the short term, but in the long term, it also heralds a major rift in the Democratic Party, a topic I will address in detail in another article. Let's turn to the final point. Everyone knows and has heard about the Epstien issue by now; I won't rehash it. The key point is that some Republican congressmen are collaborating with Democrats regarding the disclosure and publicity of these letters. Anyone who seeks to obstruct this process stands to lose greatly in this process. The outcome remains unknown, but the correspondence and messaging we've seen so far demonstrates how deep and how dirty the issue will go for those involved. This is a complete mystery. If it's revealed, it's a major issue; if it's not, it's a major issue. And every day, it's ripe for new events. I've only addressed these developments over the past month or two, without going into detail. There are enough factors to reverse the currents in American politics. There are also opportunities to increase support. The issue now isn't the facts, but how perceptions are created and how they're marketed. We'll have to wait and see, and it won't be long.
