The SimpleBits journey

As many say, in the world of crypto faucets, there is never enough faucets. And in this post I will talk about another I've been using and am reporting now after getting my first withdrawal.

What is it?

The SimpleBits faucet is not dissimilar from other faucet sites. One interesting difference is that when faucet claiming (every 40 min) your level as a direct impact on your roll. The roll is from 0 to 9999 but to the result you add 10*level, further more the rewards scale from 6 tokens (Tks) to 20 Tks on a 666 (lol) step. This gives a better sense of progression not only because you can gain varying amounts of tokens each time, but your level will help push your rewards ever upward. Besides the faucet you have the standard activities, PTC (6 Tks), shortlinks (7 Tks) and offerwalls.

You can trade your Tks for bound tokens (B Tks.) directly (1:1), and their price is pegged to the dollar at 10 000 Tks / B Tks to 1$. Only BTks can be withdrawn from the site either through BTC (direct, faucetpay or expresscrypto) or DOGE (direct).

However, another unusual thing is their "hardware" mechanic. In essence your forgo the immediate value of your Tks and "invest" them. They have 4 tiers each costing different amounts and lasting different amount of days. These give you a percentage increase on your original investment, spread out over a number of days. Its a good system to earn a little extra on your tasks if you can be patient as the ultimate option gives your 35% extra Tks, but the income from this option is spread out over 120 days.

They also have some daily rewards for doing certain tasks as can be seen bellow, and also have rain where eligibility is determined by doing shortlinks and offerwalls and not participating in chat which makes chat more more useful for actually discussing thing and get help.

Strategy

For me this is an extra site so my personal strategy is simply to claim the faucet a couple times a day, then when I have enough buy the "Superior HW" and just wait to have the full amount to withdraw. As I said at the beginning I just got my first withdrawal of around 10 000 satoshis and it was surprisingly fast to process too!

Conclusions

The SimpleBits site is fairly simple and easy to get into with a good selection of features. The level up mechanic is interesting and the tiered approach to the faucet claim rewards is engaging. On the whole, someone making this faucet site their "main" would be able to use all the tools above to get a pretty good income from it.

Stay safe!
