We had some interesting games and some a bit boring games but we are on to the quarterfinals now and we are really close to the finish. There are some really interesting games that some would say deserve to be the final game but that is the luck of the draw.  

Lets see what we are going to have and who do I think will go through before the first games tomorrow. This will be just a quick recap and how I think it will all unfold.

Spain - Germany

Spain should have the upper hand here because of their consistent play. They are the only team that has not lost or drawn a game and keep playing with the same energy. Every other team has failed to impress in at least 1 game so far so I am going with Spain.

Portugal - France

This has the chance to be the one of the most entertaining games of the tournament or the most boring. France has shown that they know how to play boring. Lets see if they know how to play entertaining football. On the other hand Portugal has been playing interesting football but have missed the mark in a lot of chances. So this can be 0:0 until the penalty or 3:2 full time. It can go either way and lets hope they finally decide to play all out football with a lot of goals. I am going with Portugal on this one because I want them to win this tournament.

England - Switzerland

Switzerland is the surprise of the tournament and England along with France the disappointment. They were both favorites but they are playing awful. Lets hope that changes today and they will finally start scoring goals and play amazing football. We know Switzerland will do that for sure but somehow I think England will get lucky again and win this one. 

Netherlands - Turkey 

Netherlands may got lucky with the draw and got the easiest opponent of all of them but they finally played as they should. They dominated and created a lot of chances. Turkey has been amazing so far and this will be a really interesting game. They got a bit lucky against Austria but you can't say that it was not deserved. And just because I want a surprise I will go with Turkey on this one but this is just because I want a dark horse in the semifinal.

I will be back tomorrow with a bit more analyses and opinions about the first 2 games for tomorrow. Lets continue to have amazing tournament and lets see a lot of goals.
