Well we got one of the games correct. And I was correct in saying France playing awful again and winning the game on luck. Portugal deserved the win on this one but that is the penalty roulette. If you manage to get to it then you have a chance to win the game. Spain vs Germany was a different more beautiful game and yet again, Germany started playing after having Wirtz and Fullkrug on. I honestly can't believe how a coach with that kind of experience keeps playing the same team that he constantly sees that struggles. Why on Earth would you again start Sane whos have and awful season and bench again Wirtz who was one of the best players in your team in the first games and did a lot more than Sane in the other 2. And again the only good chances they had were through Fullkrug. Just for that I am glad that Germany lost. Some managers are too stubborn to see that they are playing the wrong players and sometimes get lucky (like Southgate) and go through, but lets hope he learns from this. 

Enough rambling about the yesterdays games, lets go over the 2 for today

England - Switzerland

I am honestly not sure what to say here. We all know Southgate will play the same team with the same tactics which is no tactics. And somehow he is going to get lucky again and win this one even though I thing that Switzerland will dominate this game. The only chance of having an interesting game is if Switzerland scores first in the early stage and then maybe Southgate will come to his senses and start playing the players that know how to create chances and score. But then again he may stick to the same team as with Slovakia and get lucky in the end. Sometimes it is frustrating for everyone to see what is wrong, but the manager. I haven't read anyone anywhere that has said something good about this team playing but they are once again going to get lucky. Switzerland have had an amazing run, they are playing amazing and attacking without holding back, so it would be a lot more interesting if they go trough. They just need to score a goal and then manage to defend which is not going to be that thought. But I am really hoping that I am going to be wrong on this and that we will have an amazing game with a lot of chances and interesting moments. But I am going to go with 0:0 at half time and 1:0 for England at the end. Oh and Kane will score today.

Netherlands - Turkey

Netherlands finally started playing good football against Romania but then again, Romania had a good 2-3 games but it is still Romania. They need to prove it again now. Turkey also have been amazing this whole tournament and it is going to be hard for them to play without Demiral but they will have to make it now more than ever. Netherland have more experience and should be the better team on paper but we will see how this all will go. I have to say I was disappointed by them but maybe the game against Romania was their turning point. But we should for sure be in to an amazing game and if Turkey plays their game and do not chance tactics then they have a good chance because lets remember that Austria beat Netherlands by playing the same attacking game. They are a bit wobbly in midfield and defense so Turkey will need to exploit that. I have to say I would like for Turkey to go trough because they have deserved it but I am not sure how their luck will be today so I am going to go 1:1 at half time and 2:2 at full time with this one also going to penalty. Not sure how it will go there but I am giving this one to Netherlands against my own gut feeling.
