The quarterfinals are here. Lets be amazed from the games that will happen today. I really want a lot of goals and some interesting nerve breaking games.
Lets go with the first one for today
Spain - Germany
Honestly this is the only one that I do not have a clear favorite and want both teams to go trough and this is one of those final before the final games. I have to be honest I had doubts in Spain and I thought that they will struggle and be 3rd in their group but they have been the most consistent team of all and showed some great interesting football and I am so glad that they proved me wrong because we need teams like this. On the other had Germany is playing home and had 2 amazing games but somehow has slowed down in the last 2, the loss against Switzerland and the win against Denmark that they got lucky with that offside. I still don't know why they keep playing Havertz instead of Fullkrug as the striker because as we have seen Havertz doesn't bring that attacking treat and that is what Germany is missing. He is a good player but not as a striker and if they continue to play him tomorrow then I don't think Germany will go trough. And don't say he has 2 goals, both were from penalty and Fullkurg has the same amout with playing around 30 minutes total in all 4 games so there is that. He is a danger in the area while Havertz is just a presence. But I don't think that Nagelsmann will change formation so I will give this one to Spain because some of this managers can learn only after the lose in a game like this. But it will be really hard game and I hope with a lot of goals. I will have to go 1:0 at half time and 2:1 at the end. With a chance to be 2:2 full time and then Spain win 3:2 after extra time. If Fullkurg plays then I think the score will be the other way around 1:2 full time for Gemarny.
Portugal - France
Another final before the final but this one doesn't really sit like that because both teams have had awful games that they have failed to score, but France is particular has disappointed every single one of us. Lets hope that they finally remember how to play football and we see the football that we deserve to see. But honestly I doubt it. France lack creativity in the midfield and their game plan is just pass trough balls to the wings and hope they score from half chances. And that is Deschamps fault when picking the team. From the team that played the best in the last World Cup to the team that plays the worst in this EURO that is a huge change and it is for sure not for the good. So they need this reality check because I think there is a lot of ego is this France team that makes them thing they are the best and because of that there is something missing in the team and they play like this. Portugal on the other hand has played as a team even though they did everything they could to get Ronaldo to score against Slovakia. But other than that on every single game so far they have played good, as a team except for Leao who needs to be benched. The guy brings nothing. He has no idea. Everyone else has a role in this team but him. If Martinez benches him then Portugal may win this in the regular time and with some difference. I am going with 0:0 at half time and 2:0 at full time for Portugal on this one.
Lets see how wright or wrong I am today but the most important thing is to have an amazing day and 2 awesome games.
