We got our first penalty shootout yesterday and it was interesting. What a game by both Oblak and Costa at the end, making history with saving 3 penalties in a row. And France was a bit boring as we thought. They had chances but, as usual really bad at scoring. Lets hope today will be a lot better.

Romania - Netherlands

Romania was one of the surprises in the group stage and to be honest I thought that they will finish last in their group. But they played great as a team and managed to go as first in their group which is a great achievement. Netherlands, same as France did not impressed anyone with their group games and honestly I am not sure if they are going to be able to do much here. Unless there is an early goal for them I think they will struggle a lot as they did with every team that played a compact team game. I will be honest and say that I would like the underdog Romania to go through especially since they played a lot better than Netherlands so because of that I will be a bit biased and go against the odds here. I am going with 0:0 at half time an 1:0 at the end for Romania. There is a chance that it will go to extra time but the end will be the same 1:0 for Romania and no penalties.

Austria - Turkey

Both teams played amazingly with a lot of goals and I really hope that they will continue with the same in this game. Both teams were playing all out and we really need a game like that to end this round. I am going to go with Austria on this one because they have a bit more experience and Turkey has a younger team so they will for sure have a great future but this is the last chance of this Austrian team and they are playing like that. I will go with a lot of goals on this one 1:0 half time and 3:2 at the end for Austria. I think there will not be any extra time on this one.
