And as it should be. There was a surprise in the very first match of the knockout stage. Not many believed Switzerland will beat Italy that easy but that is what we love about football. Germany got lucky with that tiny offside and England were appalling as usual but again got really lucky in the last minute. Spain were also up for a surprise but they got over that really quick and beat Georgia with an ease.

Lets see what the other 2 games for today will give us.

France - Belgium

This is a hard one to be honest. Both teams played bad in the group stages but France should have the edge on this one. Although Belgium did up their game in the last one I am not really sure that they can beat France. There is a lot missing in this team. But the same can be said about France. I will go with France 1:0 at half time and 3:1 at the end but to be completely honest with you, France were shit and if they do not start playing then they are not going to pass Belgium.

Portugal - Slovenia

Portugal rested some key players in the last game, but they also managed to anger Ronaldo when they took him off. So now we have 2 options. Either we are going to see beast Ronaldo that will dominate the whole game and score 1-2 goals or we will see Ronaldo that played in the first and second group game that was an amazing team player. Or we can get a bit of both. Honestly would want a bit of both as this is his last EURO and we all want to see him explode. Slovenia will not cause much trouble this game because I thing all this big teams learned their lesson with Italy and with England and will want to avoid any complication. I am going 2:0 for Portugal and 3:0 or 3:1 at the end.
