The Turquoisine Grass Parakeet is one of the most beautiful birds to photograph.  I got into breeding these birds around five years ago but it was just last year when they had success.  My first pair had three clutches and I currently have two pair who are breeding this year.  There a variety of mutations which are linked in the resources below.  I'm fortunate to have normals, dilutes, opaline and gray-greens.  Some are full-fronted red.  I'm slowly finding more people who have these birds, but they don't see to be as common as one might think.  I'm in the Chicago area and only know of three other people who breed these birds.  I've linked two Facebook groups that I started in the resources.  Please join and let's talk Turquoisines!
