Meanwhile, Biden appealed to Parliament to pass the ProAct (Protecting the Right to Organize Act) and send it to him as soon as possible, so that they could make it into law. However, Biden announced to increase taxes on those earning over four million US dollars per year within the scheme’s period.

The Democrats had talked about this package to improve the country’s infrastructure. However, Biden would need the support of the US parliament to approve the package. The president would need the approval of about 10 Republican leaders to adopt this package.
Meanwhile, as expected, Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, quickly rejected the plan. He doesn’t think the tax hike for this plan would do any good to the American economy.
