Football has seen many great players come and go with the likes of Pele, Maradona, Abedi Pele, Samuel Etoo, Didier Drogba, Ronaldo Nazario, Garincha, Zidane etc. While others are still in the game and doing great things like Neymar, Messi, Mbappe, Hazard, Modric, and Cristiano Ronaldo who happens to celebrate his 35th birthday today.

He is a living legend, one of a kind and a blessing to our generation to experience his exploit.

Cr7 as he is affectionately called has accomplished great things in his footballing career including ;

1. He won the pichichi many times with Madrid and is their all time goal scorer with 431 goals in 438 games in the Madrid club's history.

2. He is the second man on Earth to reach five (5) Balon Dors with Messi leading with six (6). He won it in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017.

3. He is the first Portuguese captain to guide his nation to the Uefa Nation's cup in 2016 as well as the 2018/2019 Nations league. 

4. He is the second man with many goals for a national team. He has 99 goals and trailing  Iran's Ali Daei who has 109 goals. It won't be long to see him over take Daei in 2020.

5. Cr7 has 4 golden boots in his club career. He won it in 2008, 2011,2014 a d 2015. Only Lionel Messi has more golden boots than him with six.

6. He's scored 128 goals in the champions league and is the leading scorer with Messi trailing him behind with 106.

7. In total, CR7 has 723 club goals in his career having played for Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid and currently playing for Juventus.
