REMEMBER GOD'S GOODNESS...

By manzon | My Life as A Christian... | 29 Mar 2019

Remember today the goodness of our Heavenly Father.
For His blessings are sweeter than honey and finer than gold.

In Psalm 103:1-5 NIV

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Sometimes it is easy to take God’s provision for granted.
How often do we thank God for the blessings He has bestowed upon us?
Is our car running, can we buy groceries this week, are our homes comfortable, can we pay our rent or mortgage, do we have work to occupy us and friends Can we even begin to imagine what our lives would be like if these things were removed?

Take particular notice of what God has given us today and then give thanks.

Lest we forget His bounty to us.
So remember God’s goodness, thank Him for His promises and seek His Kingdom daily.
All other things you need will then be continually added unto you.

My Prayer:
Father, help me to continually remember your goodness.
I’ll always keep praises on my lips and thanksgiving in my heart.
Forgive me for the times I presume that all I have is from my own efforts.
Let me never forget that you alone are the source of all good things.
Remind me what you have given to me today.
Open my eyes to see and my heart to thank you.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name, AMEN!
