10th - West Ham - Sebastien Haller could end up being the signing of the season. A player who smashed the Bundesliga last season, I could see him setting the Premier League alight. West ham have a decent team and this addition should continue to solidify them as a top 10 team and with Pellegrini managing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they pushed for top 7.
9th - Everton - Everton have quite a decent team. Young stars Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison will be looking to make their mark. A few surprising transfers last season (Digne and Bernard) saw them grab a top 10 finish and I think it is more than likely that they will be finishing in the top 10 again. Gone are the days when Everton were battling for a top 4 place, but I think their fans will be happy with a top 10 finish again.
8th - Leicester - If Leicester can hold onto Maguire I can see them fighting to break into the top 6, however, I am writing this under the assumption that he won't be a Leicester player come to the start of the season. They still have a very strong squad, however, and I believe they will finish 8th. If they finish below this position I think Leicester will look at this seasons as a disappointment.
7th - Arsenal - This is probably my biggest call of these predictions. Arsenal continually disappoints. No new signings coming in, and rumours of a few players wanting to leave. I can see this being Emery’s last season in charge. The one thing that Arsenal have going for them is their front two. Both world-class strikers, but I am afraid that with no defensive reinforcements coming in then they could end up conceding more than they will score.
6th - Wolves - The surprise package of last season will surprise again. Their record against top 6 sides was incredible. I believe it was one of the best in the league. If they can sort out there record against teams below them then I see them breaking into the top 6 this season. Nuno is proving himself as a manager, and this next season will just show how good he is.
5th - Manchester United - I believe that Manchester United will struggle to get back into the top 4 but I would love to see Solskjaer succeed. I think that is United want to get back into the Champions League places they need to sort of the big personalities in the changing rooms. I think they will have enough to finish 5th but can’t see them getting any higher.
4th - Chelsea - A few people might be surprised by this since Chelsea are under a transfer ban however I believe they will sneak into fourth. Winning the Europa league shows that they still have a side that can compete. Even though they lost Hazard they have Pulisic coming in. Hazard will be a big miss but they can’t let this get in the way of trying to move on. They have other players who can fill in that position as they try to get Champions League football again.
3rd - Tottenham - Pochettino’s consistency of being able to finish in the top 4 without spending big money shows how great of a manager he is. This summer he is actually spending money so I am very excited to see how they do. I don’t think 1 summer of transfers will be able to put them into a position to challenge the top two, but my prediction is they will finish 3rd by some distance and will also start closing the gap on the top.
2nd - Liverpool - My prediction shows the team that just missed out on the title last year will just miss out again this year. Liverpool have such a great team that play excellent football. Klopp is a great manager and I would love nothing more than being wrong about this but I just don’t think they will have enough to win the title. I think a good run in Europe again is much more likely for this side.
1st - Man City - Probably one of the best teams of all time (please don’t attack me for this statement, I am aware there are a lot of contenders for this). Man City were very unlucky to not win the quadruple last season and I think this will make them want it, even more, this season. I see Man City dominating England and Europe this season and David Silva will leave on a really good note.
