The Laptop with 6 of the most harmful malwares was sold for $1.345 millions

As I posted before in one of my previous articles, the laptop was auctioned for a starting price of $1.2 mil.

Today the bidding has ended and the final price was $1,345,000.

The Auction was hold in New York by the Chinese internet Artist Guo O Dong. The laptop was part of the project called The Persistence of Chaos.

The damage caused by the total of 6 malwares is measured in over $95 billions. Guo O Dong partnered with the Cyber Security company Deep Instict in order to disable all ports and all options the laptop to be connected to the Internet. The buyer also guaranteed that he will not be trying to connect the laptop to any network.
