I am planning to switch my tech news bulletin to evening hours so you have something interesting to read with your evening brew/beer/water/wine. Please let me know which release time is better for you.
I am also thinking about adding some interesting articles not only news, but I will see.
Linux
- It seems that Rust, a system programming language create by Mozilla, is getting it way into a Linux Kernel development which is a very good news as Rust is much better in creating the safe software than C is. It has been admitted by Linux Kernel Developers that most of kernel bug in the last few month are due to a developer error in memory management, so Rust should improve on it.
Windows
- Not exactly the news but interesting article, which tries to explain why we will have Windows 11 this year. I can sum it up by saying, that world is changing as well as our hardware is changing, albeit slower, and to allow Windows to become more adapted to current threat (e.g. Ransomware) so we have to burn a few bridges.
Apple
- The rumours about new Apple processors are rising. Apparently l the new Mac Air will have M2 on board. I want to see which will be better the M2 or new Exynos with AMD graphic card.
- So Apple and Foxconn "care" about their workers. They provided metal bunks with bamboo mats to prevent workers from Covid-19. And now I am not sure if this is a positive care or not.
Technology
- The new technology company called Nothing just released the just release they noise cancelation earbuds. The brave move on this very red ocean market. I want to see them competing with Apple, Sony, Bose and Sennheiser, it might be interesting.
