There is a mysterious madness in cycling, in our country, Iran, which is indescribable with words. For others who never been to Iran, it is hard to imagine. And they can’t know what I'm actually saying because haven’t experienced it every day.
Of course, riding a bike is always dangerous, especially when drivers all behave so badly and are unconsidered toward others and cyclists, something to look forward to almost everywhere not just here, but nevertheless, it turns out to be a real horrifying challenge in Iran.
It doesn't matter you are a man or woman, still harder for female cyclists though.
If you are going to get a good picture, think it like driving on a road from hell, while cars, and motorcycles coming from both sides of the road willy-nilly, following no law! Like the Wild West. They just come toward you without any warning, it's a fast and furious situation basically!
They don't care about traffic rules and in their opinion, cyclists shouldn't be allowed in the streets. They are mad at everything, unsatisfied with the bad economy and a very unhappy life they have, so others become the target of their rage.
In this unfortunate situation., you! Little cyclist, trying to survive, in this craziness! Just paddling in a maze of cars, trucks, etc. You would definitely feel like a flying character in a video game, against a bunch of enemies who are trying to finish you!
Such a thrill! I told you, cycling in Iran is madness!
