CryptoTab is a cool browser. It allows you to mine Bitcoin while just using a computer like normal. I view it as the gateway drug to the Crypto-world for new crypto enthusiasts! However, it is slow going when mining independently. So I decided to experiment with different ways to get people to sign up using my affiliate link to join my network. If I can just find one person who is as devoted to making this work as I am, and they can find one person, etc. then we will all succeed together! The CryptoTab affiliate network goes 10 layers deep!
Unfortunately for me I went in not knowing the best option, so I have spent a bit more money then I am currently bringing in. (I think I’ll have to go fill out more Cointiply Surveys to pay for the ads I wasted).
Fortunately for you, I’ll show you what worked best for me so you can skip wasting any money or time. Currently I am averaging between .25 - .50 cents in BTC every few days (depending on how active my fellow members are). But I want more!
Step 1) If you do not have CryptoTab yet – download it here and join up with me!
Once it is set up you will want to visit the Affiliate Dashboard and generate some links. They have a nice feature where you can create unique links for different ways of marketing so you can track what works and not. That is how I learned where I wasted money and where I did not.
What didn’t work:
- Facebook Ads: Rejected because they do not allow advertising financial sites without special permission
- Google Ads: Rejected because they said it was malicious software. What the?
- AdThurst: Only a couple signups – not worth it
- Eleaver - Zilch
- LinkCollider – free link exchange. People clicked but did nothing. I think the audience using this tool is not the correct audience for this.
- Cointiply Pay To Click – too saturated of advertising
What worked and got me nearly all my members in a few hours:

Step 2) Sign up here for Adf.ly.
For whatever reason – this advertising worked. And they allow you to pay as little as $5 for 12500 showings. I had not realized you could go that low – otherwise I would have done that during my experimenting phase. Instead I plunked down $20 for 50,000 showings. (Thus why I need to go fill out some surveys - $5 will get paid back via CryptoTab in no time - $20 would take longer. I want CryptoTab to make me money, not cost me money).
Steps in Adf.ly:
1. Choose Interstitial Ads
2. Do the Proxy Traffic Deal
3. At the bottom click Click here to enter your website details
4. Choose Create new website
5. Type in a Campaign Name
6. Put your CryptoTab affiliate link in for the website
7. Set a Max Daily Budget (if applicable)
8. Do not select Mobile – select only Desktop!
9. Agree to the terms and pay via PayPal or Credit Card.
Now sit back and watch as your first members join up!
