Hi
I thought I would do a quick post on Crypto Debit cards and some thoughts.
My 1st crypto debit card was a Tenx card which I received early in Dec 2017. I used it to buy small items plus a few vouchers as Christmas presents. My total spending was around £500 over the Christmas/new year period. However the card issuer they used lost their licence to issue cards from VISA (think it was Wavecrest based in Gibraltar). So the cards were stopped mid January.
Tenx then looked for a new issuer before going down the route of getting their own licence. This has been a major issue as they have issued cards in Asia but after 2 years are only starting to reissue cards in EU and UK now.
There are many alternatives to Tenx now with Coinbase now in UK and I have acquirexld a Coinbase card and used it to buy a few coffees.
Crypto.com have cards and new Exchange Coindeal among others. I am not sure what countries these projects cover so do your own analysis but it is a useful way to spend some of your crypto when you are ready to do so. Even if is only to reduce your capital gains exposure and use your annual tax exemption if your country has one which most do. It is a great way to extract your profits from crypto.
