Leaking Unreleased Smartphones are Not Cool

Most of the Smartphone manufacturers when they release their devices they send them to several Youtubers for review purposes way ahead of time so that they can make proper review videos ahead of time and can release them as soon as the device is Launched officially. But they do have to sign an Embargo which means they cannot release their reviews ahead of the release. Yes if someone releases a smartphone before its official release it will most definitely get some crazy views but it will also come with some consequences and this is one such case where a guy had to pay for the same thing.

Xiaomi launched their Mi 10 Ultra smartphone last year which was a huge deal because the Smartphone details were already leaked by someone named Gu Xuyang. This obviously broke the agreement between Gu Xuyang and Xiaomi and he had to pay literally 15500 USD to Xiaomi in damages. He does claim that it was accidentally posted by her Mom but the courts have definitely spoken here and he has to pay for the damages caused by the leak.

Yes I know it was not intentional but he did indeed cause a lot of trouble for Xiaomi so yeah this was kinda justified but I would have liked the damages to be a little low as 15500 USD is a lot of money. That is all I want as we don't the financial situation of Gu Xuyang.
