COMMON MISTAKES OF MINERS ON P2P MINING POOLS

By Wolf2015 | My Crypto Info | 19 Aug 2023

Miners are the backbone of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, so it is really important that you do not accidentally donate your hard efforts back into the mining pools. Even though when mining on other pools, when you are mining on a P2P mining pool it is unwise to put any other extension to your crypto-coin mining address. Look at the example below.

This miner has listed the address to his coin, however added .Rig.1 to the address. This will not be recognized. What must be done at this point is to use another address in your wallet and label it as the mining pool, or ASIC, or anything in order to keep track on how much that particular miner is earning.

In order to do this you will need to go to your address tab on your particular wallet. After you do this, you should click on the address and edit the label to what you wish to call that address. Save that label.

Now every time the miner earns and deposits to that wallet, you will be able to see which miner has deposited. This also works if you have several computers mining you can label each address computer 1, or Dell, or whatever you want.

Doing it this way not only allows you to make a determination which miner needs to be upgraded, but it prevents you from mining and not earning.
