BProgramers Cryptocurrency Faucet apps review - The worst faucets on planet

By INAM_ | My Crypto earning Journey | 31 Aug 2020

So I have been searching for bitcoin faucets on android that are built for android (Not websites like freebitco.in) in hope that they will pay more than website faucets as they use reward videos, which have a higher CPM than ads you see on websites. And I don't know if it is due to geo-restriction or what, I was only able to find two apps, "Efast Efree" and "Bfast Bfree", that were not free cloud mining or crypto games and paid on Coinbase. I also downloaded their game thinking they will pay good. So was I correct about these apps giving more satoshis than websites? Let's see in this post.

Disclaimer: All that is written in this post is my opinion and I do not hate BProgrammers or something. This is just what I think. I also don't know the exact statistics, I only know what I tell from my research on Google and Past experience with operating a cryptocurrency faucet.

The above part was written initially when I planned on writing the post. But now just forget the disclaimer, I do hate B Programmers and you will see why in this post. Oh, and now I have also deleted all of their apps. I first wanted to share my referral code but now it just feels so unethical to refer someone to shit. And I am sorry if the post picture is not too relevant, I couldn't find anything good and had very little time.

The Apps

Let's start with information about the apps. I also want you to know that even though all apps use points and are from the same developer, the points are not synced across these apps. Makes sense, good. If it doesn't, I am sorry, there is no time to explain.

1. BFast BFree

It is a faucet app. You randomly get a number of points by rolling. For every roll, you need to watch an ad. When the ad is complete your balance updates. It pays out in Bitcoin to Coinbase Email. The minimum withdrawal is 3000 points.

2. EFast EFree

Same as BFast BFree but it pays out in Etherium.

3. Crypto Rize

This is a game and not a faucet. I am not exactly sure how paid out points are calculated, but my average with every level has constantly been 200-230. You need to watch an ad after every level (or before level, not sure, deleted app due to low payout) to get your points. It pays out in various cryptos to your Coinbase Email. The minimum withdrawal is 5000 points in this app.

Problems With These Apps

1. Point System

Now, using points instead of Satoshis is not the problem here. I am sure if you are using this app and still haven't reached the payout, you are expecting any of these points to satoshi rates: 1p = 1sat or 10p = 1sat and in case reading the title and paragraph after "Disclaimer" changed your mind about the rate, 100p = 1sat. But no. BProgramers are the shitiest people I have seen. First of all, the exchange rate is not written anywhere in the app and then the actual exchange rate is 3000p to 100sats. And if you have even reached 1500 points, you could tell how hard it was to reach there.

2. Most Ads don't pay

This problem was not present in Crypto Rize when I used it but both BFast BFree and EFast EFree have this problem. Now, this could be a temporary bug, or this could be something that the devs did themselves, and after seeing how greedy the devs are, they could for sure code to only give reward for some videos only. So one day I was watching ads while using my computer and realized my points are the same as they were 2 or 3 ads ago. I thought maybe something got wrong with Videos API and will be fixed soon, but even after some days, it stayed the same. I was hardly ever getting rewarded and I probably watched 6-7 ads and then finally there was one that rewarded me.

1. Low Payout (Not payment threshold)

Before reading stuff below I want you to know about CPM. CPM is Cost Per Mile, in other words, money developers get after 1000 ads viewed by the app users. And according to my research average CPM is $6 for rewarded or unskippable video ads. This rate is an average of all ad networks so we will use $5 instead. So the Cost per ad view will be $0.005. And I just remembered, if the user installs the app in ad, the dev will get more money.

So now I am also going to some calculation to show you how unfair the devs are being. And I will include all 3 apps in this calculation. So lets start with Crypto Rize. I did not mention this app in "Points System", but just know that it is a little different than the other two apps. In this 5000p = 100sats. As you know every level you complete will give you average of 220 points. Now let's divide 5000 with 220. That equals to 22.72, that means 23 levels. So you need to complete almost 23 levels to get your payout. 23 levels also mean that you have seen 23 ads. So $0.005 x 23 views = $0.115, and 100sats are worth around $0.01, yes you are seeing correct figures here. The devs are keeping 90% of the ad revenue from the game.

Now let's move on to the other two apps. These both work exactly the same so let's ignore how much ETH Efast Efree gives (I deleted it before payout). So as most ads don't payout, it significantly increases the ad views. And a problem in this calculation will be points per ad because you will randomly get points ranging from 5 to 200. So let's take a points average of 120 points even though most point slots are lower than this. So first let's do the calculation without including the ads not paying. So to reach 3000 points, you need 25 ad views. Using the same formula above, devs get $0.125 this time, and only if the user is lucky enough to average 120 points. And they again payout $0.01. They don't have to pay any transaction fees or some kind of rent but still, they steal 90+% from you.

Now let's include the "not paying ads". My average with not paying ads was 6-7 not paying and then 1-2 paying. So let's use 5 not paying ads and 2 paying in the calculation. So we need to reach 25 paying ads. First 25/2=12.5 ~12 cycles of ads. What I mean by "cycle of ads" is 5 paying and 2 not paying, so we need to multiply 12 cycles with 7 ads. That is 84 ads. OMG, that is a lot of ads, and believe me, I am sure I watched 100+ ads. Anyways, $0.005 x 84 = $0.42. That's just insane. Devs are getting $0.41 and giving only $0.01. That's unacceptable.

A note before you go. Not all apps are the same, most of the apps will be fair to you and will payout good. In fact, it is due to those good apps that I was searching for Android Faucets on the play store. But unfortunately, I couldn't find a lot of those. I am planning to make my own faucet app, so let's wait for that, I guarantee I will payout good amount of sats.
