Promoting Airdrops and Passive Income You Could Earn

Scepticism and distrust in Airdrops

I haven't worked out why so many people think that promoting an airdrop is spam. It really does confuse me. I've been promoting airdrops since October 2018 and every airdrop I've promoted is one that I trust, and I've been a part of. Don't get me wrong, some may never pay out. Some may never become valuable. Some may continue to delay the airdrop payment to the point where you're better of forgetting about it. But I focus on the ones that do pay out. The ones that can potentially become valuable. The ones that don't delay payment. It's these airdrops that have contributed to my passive income of over AU$6000. Therefore, I promote airdrops. I'm sharing airdrops with you because I believe in them. I'm sharing airdrops with you because I want you to earn what I earn. I'm sharing airdrops with you because there's no risk of financial loss because you don't have to invest any money. I'm sharing airdrops with you because one day one of these airdrops may be worth something more than you dreamed of. I'm sharing airdrops with you because there's nothing like a couple of extra thousands of dollars to save for a rainy day.

Common questions about Airdrops and Cryptocurrency

1. What is an airdrop or bounty?

“An airdrop refers to the free distribution of small amounts of a certain virtual currency tokens to its community members either for free or for performing small tasks”, usually things such as registering to receive their newsletter or liking and sharing posts on their social media pages. Bounties are generally the same thing, and both terms are used interchangeably. Airdrops can be considered a promotional activity “mostly performed by blockchain-based start-ups to bootstrap (to finance and start) their virtual currency projects. Its aim is to spread awareness about the cryptocurrency project, and to get the maximum people in the game.” (Investopaedia, Airdrop (Cryptocurrency)

2. What sort of activities do I need to do to earn the free tokens?

The activities vary depending on the airdrop. Generally, activities may include all or some of the following:

  • Completing a registration form.
  • Registering a new account and potentially ‘Know Your Customer (KYC) profile verification, which may include uploading identity and address verification documents.
  • Registering to receive updates via email.
  • Liking, following or reposting any promotional material.
  • Creating a blog, vlog, image or any other post promoting the campaign.
  • Joining their discussion forums or chat services like BitcoinTalk, Discord or Telegram. Some campaigns also require you to be actively involved in the forum for bonus free crypto.

3. How Do I register for an airdrop?

Normally you are required to complete an airdrop registration form; a link is provided in the relevant airdrop listing. Click the link and complete the information requested, which may include proof (links to your social pages) that you’ve completed some or all the activities listed in the above section.

4. How will I receive my free tokens?

You may receive free crypto as specified in the terms and conditions on the airdrop listing or during the airdrop registration process. I will give an example for which I have created a new airdrop for a company called ‘Club Crypto’, whose crypto short name is XCLC. ‘Club Crypto’ has requested you create a new account on their website and register some personally identifiable information. Because crypto has a value, personally identifiable information is required, just like a bank would require when you open a new account. For creating a new account ‘Club Crypto’ will reward you 100 XCLC. This amount is credited to you within 30 days of the campaign ending. On that date, you will be able to withdraw the XCLC to your personal wallet (generally an ERC20 compatible wallet – ETH (Ethereum)). Or if you requested during account creation, you will automatically have the XCLC sent directly to your ETH address at which time you can trade it for another crypto of your choice or sell it at an ‘Exchange’. For information about Exchanges, you can view Investopaedia, Bitcoin Exchange.

5. What is an ETH address and how do I get one?

An Ethereum (ETH) address, is just like a bank account, where you store your digital crypto. You control this account and only you have access to it. To create a new ETH address you can visit MyEtherWallet (MEW) and follow the given step-by-step process for creating a new address. If you would like more assistance with creating an ETH address, please contact us and we can guide you through the process.

6. When will I receive my free tokens?

This information depends on the airdrop to which you register and is specified in the terms and condition on the airdrop listing or during the airdrop registration process. On occasion you are requested to hold (HODL) your crypto for a certain period, or your free crypto will be given after the campaign ends.

7. How can I protect my privacy?

When I started registering for airdrops, I was sceptical. I wasn't sure how my information is used, stored, and/or protected. I created a new email address and an online/airdrop username/name. It means I protect what's important to me and that's my identity. I suggest you do the same. Be creative. Create an email address that relates to cryptocurrency or airdrops. Create a username/name and only use that in communication or where required to have a username. And never share your passwords or private keys with anyone. If you are ever approached by anyone, and I mean everyone, steer clear, they're doing something deceitful. Just like a bank would never ask for your PIN, you need to protect all passwords and private keys. If you share your passwords and private keys, you will lose any/all funds associated with that password or private key. "But what about KYC? And what is it?" KYC is the abbreviation of Know Your Customer. It's a way to be identified to ensure you are a human-being. That's right, a breathing, talking person. There are many attempts for crafty people to create bots (robot pcs) that can emulate signing up and registering multiple times for an airdrop. Cryptocurrencies are aware of this and have new ways to determine the cheats and the bots trying to take advantage. The KYC process of identifying yourself not only protects you, but also the company trying to do the right thing and only deal with honest people. Most of the time KYC is only necessary for signing up to an airdrop that involves a cryptocurrency exchange. By law exchanges and banks need proof of identity (KYC) to ensure their customers are legitimate and do not have ill-intent. It's up to you which airdrops you sign up for. You don't have to do anything you're not comfortable doing. Many of the airdrops don't use KYC processes because they understand the scepticism associated with needing KYC approval.

How do I earn a passive income?

My Airdrops Club receives affiliate and referral revenue when clients of our site sign up to an airdrop referred by My Airdrops Club. As a client you are also entitled to affiliate bonuses and/or referral revenue with the relevant airdrop you register with. We respectfully ask that you undertake due diligence in selecting the airdrops, bounties, campaigns, referral programs, or any other affiliate offer. My Airdrops Club offer this information as a free service which collects, ranks, sorts, and advertises third-party airdrops, bounties, campaigns, referral programs, or any other affiliate offer. Any revenue raised is payable by the third-party and is at no cost to you.

So how can I apply this and earn a passive income? You will eventually realise that there are many airdrops on offer. You need to be able to track them. You need to know some basic information like the coin/token name, number of coins/tokens you'll receive, the due date of receiving them, the associated referral link, and the associated value of the coins/tokens. I have created a template that I am happy to share with you if you are serious in pursuing this avenue of earning some additional income. It will make life-easier and will help you to ensure you don't miss any expected revenues.
