Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone,
My name is Nabi Bux, and I am writing to you from Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Today, I am taking a very big step in my life by sharing a story that is deeply personal, emotional, and raw—my 10-year ongoing journey with blood cancer.
Before all of this started, my life was completely normal, happy, and full of joy. I had no idea what was coming. It all began very suddenly with a minor fever and some severe pain in my stomach. When we went to the doctors, they discovered that my spleen (tilli) was enlarged. That one moment pushed me into a long cycle of medical tests, and eventually, I was diagnosed with blood cancer.
Living with cancer for a decade is a massive challenge for anyone, but fighting this deadly disease in Pakistan, while facing financial hardships and poverty, makes the battle even more overwhelming. There are days when the struggle feels heavy, but every single morning when I wake up, I suppress my pain and thank Almighty Allah for gifting me another new day of life. My fight is still going on today with unwavering hope and strength.
I have nothing material to give to this world, but I possess a very powerful story—a story born out of ultimate faith in Allah, constant patience, and self-belief. I am choosing to share my journey on this platform because I want it to be a source of strength for others. I want anyone going through dark times to read my experience and find the courage to keep fighting. More than anything, I hope that sharing my struggles and inspiring others becomes a means of my salvation (Nijat) in the Hereafter and pleases Allah.
This is just the beginning of my story, and I will be continuously sharing every single detail of how I survive and live each day. I sincerely request all of you to support me, stand by me, and keep me in your heartfelt prayers. Thank you for reading and being part of my journey.
