The first thing that I saw when I woke up this morning on the dawn of a New Year, I noticed my cry baby stimulus payment of $600 was in my bank account. Cetainly, that may alter my course of what I do today.
Most people seem to have to rely on a date such as a New Year to bring them hope and encouragement especially after a rough 2020. But unfortunately, this type of thinking is one that has to rely on external forces to mold our destiny. We simply wait until this magical date happens or the bad one passes, and we think all is well again, but in fact, reality has not changed a bit. We just perceive or see it differently. That is why reality does not change much for most people. They just want to see or feel it differently. That is why we drink, self-medicate, and pretend reality is something different rather than take the initiative and hard work that is really necessary to mold our reality to our desire.
To mold or change your reality, you will need to take the hard steps in order to do it. If you just wait for a date such as 1/1 or some other luck charm, you will be sitting in the same chair you are in, in the same place, and just as broke or broker than you are now this time next year. The only power most things have is how you react to it. Change the way you think. Remove the power of negativity. Quit relying on external things to form your destiny. Rise up and get out of bed or your chair and start the path forward. When I was contemplating a career move, I was hesitant because I thought I would be too old once I finished the necessary requirements for the career. A good friend of mine said to me, "You are going to be that old anyway in 5 years, you might as well be doing what you love then". He was right. I love what I do now because I listened to that one piece of advice and it literally changed my reality in a major positive way. Here are some predicitions for 2021:
1). Bit Coin will hit 38,000 +.
2). We will evolve to a shop online/delivery economy. In another words, do not invest in commercial buildings or shopping centers. The only exception is warehouse space.
3). The largest growth area in the U.S. will be around the Little Rock, AR area. Why? I40 and I30 run through the city and the flow of goods and distribution will pass through distribution points in Little Rock. Companies like Amazon, and many transportation companies will locate there. I40 runs directly from Los Angeles through Little Rock and to the East. The Bloods and the Crips figured this out in the 90's when they set their drug distribution empires to run right through Little Rock, thus the gang wars of the 90's. Now Amazon has figured out the same thing without the driveby shootings.
4). The stock market will continue to go upwards due to the lack of return elsewhere. Technology will soar and companies that deal with productivity and the new online economy. Be careful though, a big pull back will happen eventually with many major companies calling it quits.
5). Silver will hit $50+ per ounce while the value of the dollar plummets. Some people still do not trust bitcoin and want something tangible. Buy Silver Eagle Bullion Coins if you are one of these people.
6). The Education environment will continue to change. Covid has accelerated this. Big sprawling campuses will no longer be necessary and secondary education will continue to migrate to a less structured on campus environment while allowing others to stay home and complete the requirements. Socialization will suffer as a result.
7). Those with minor drug offenses will be released from prision to aid the dwindling workforce in the US. The quality of life in countries outside of U.S. will increase dramatically and a net loss of population will be seen in the U.S. within 5 years.
