I. "Es wird das Scepter von Juda ..." 0:00
II. "Er wird sein Füllen ..." 2:37
Second of a pair of sacred vocal works, originally composed in 2016 and revised in 2020. A motet for SATB a capella choir, setting in German the text of Genesis 49:10-11. The first section, a tenebrous and dramatic fugue teetering on the precipice of an unsettlingly chromatic extended tonality, resolves into a far more tranquil and pastoral chorale (the chorale tune of the second section itself being wholly originally conceived).
The complete engraved score, reproduced below:

The text (in both German and KJV English versions):
Genesis 49:10-11
[KJV]
[10] The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
[11] Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes[.]
The painting in the video is "Angeli Laudantes" by Edward-Burne Jones.
