This is the soundtrack of a recent TV show on the home network in Iran called " I want to live" which has been quite a hit.
The show is about a young girl who has to choose between the love of her life who is a teacher and saving the life of her father, who is innocently imprisoned.
It seems that the man who can save her father from imminent death has become interested in her and is putting her under pressure to leave the man she loves.
The sad tune of the song comes mostly from Homayoun singing, it is of course no secret that I love his voice, but I prefer him to sing more classic rather new poems.
