Exodus
The Exodus...
And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharoah, and say unto him, Thus with the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
And if thou refuse to them go, Behold, I will smite all the borders with frogs: And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into the bedchamber, and upon the bed, and into the house of the servants, and upon the people, and into thine ovens, and into the kneadingtroughs:
And the frogs shall come up both on the, and upon the people, and upon all the servants. Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.
And the frogs shall depart from there, and from the houses, and from the servants, and from the people; they shall remain in the river only.
The Take of the Day
God shows up for his people and is not about sparing too many words with the Pharaoh before He's ready to prove that these are His people and willing to do whatever is necessary to break them free from the snares of Egypt, the powerful sorcerers, witches and taskmasters. This begins the first of the infamous 10 plagues.
