For all of us using Doodstream to host videos, the ongoing legal assault levied by the West seems to have finally taken its toll on the hosting service according to the New Delhi Times. Many users have been unable to login to their accounts, leaving them to fear the worst: That their videos are gone, as are any earnings not yet withdrawn.
While there are many similar hosting sites that purport to do the same thing - allow the hosting of any and all videos and pay you for every view - they have far lower rates than Doodstream, and leave a lot to be desired when it comes to user interface.
After combing through several video hosting sites to find a suitable replacement, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon what at first glance appears to be just a clone of Doodstream, but what has actually been around for just as long.
Lulustream.com has a similar user-friendly interface, dashboard, and statistics, and so far their rates seem to be on par with if not better than Doodstream's. Here, you can see the summary of users online, today's earnings and today's views, just like with Doodstream. There's an added bonus of getting to see which countries your views are coming from.
If, like me, you were a Doodstream user who has suddenly found themselves lost in a sea of video hosting services all promising the same thing, don't fret. Check out Lulustream.com. If it's not for you, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. But, if you liked Doodstream's setup and are looking for something similar, this is the best one I've found so far.
