I feel a little rant coming on.
I read today that Social Security Checks will receive a 6% increase next year, as an inflation adjustment. Please, inflation has far passed 6%, at least that is true for where i live. I made my monthly trip to town, in order to acquire our necessaties today. Almost everything had risen in price again, in comparison to last month. One of the really Crazy Price Hikes, that stand out above everything else, involved scraps. Yep Scraps!
I have 6 puppies that are in the stage of chewing everything they can find. I started off going to Walmart, to get some rawhide chew toys. Shock - a bag of rawhide chew toys( created from byproducts of Beef processing) that cost around $5 in January - were now over $20! Ok, to supliment their dry food, I have gone to the grocery store's Butcher to purcahse waste fat. You know the waste fat some people use when they make their own sausage, or process venison. I bought some last fall for 50 cents per pound. Sometime in June, i bought some to suppliment my pregnant dog's feeding, and it was up to 99 cents per pound. Today I went in hopes of getting some bones, from the grocery store Butcher. No bones available. So - here comes the real shocker - Scrap Fat was $3.98 per pound!!! !!! $3.98 For Scrap FAT!!!
For my family, I didn't even go by Fresh Meats. When I say the High Prices on "Reduced for Quick Sale" I just walked on by. And the same idiots that have declaired 6% inflation, are projecting a normalized inflationary number of only 2% by next year. I don't know about where you live, but i do know that inflation is already far past 8%, since last year, if not even higher.
Manipulation is the word of the day. All of the people who live their lives, with the herd mentality - went into panic mode and began selling their Crypto when prices began to drop. Thus even higher losses! The Propaganda Machine is projecting falling Spot Prices for Precious Metals. I say Projecting, because they are only hoping you are gullible enough to sell yours for such cheap prices! The Wise Investors are holding on to all they have! The Very Astute Investors are acquiring more as the prices move lower.
