Murchison Farm is a small family owned farm in Southern Alabama, or what we sometimes call L.A.(Lower Alabama). We opened the farm to primitive campers last year and continue to do so this year. We will continue to improve the farm, in a way oriented to campers, in the years to come. We offer 2 ponds, a creek, clean clear cold water springs, fields, new and old timber growth, trails and roads. You can go hiking, trail riding, fishing, swimming, children can play in the cold water springs, and we have a beautiful night sky with very little light polution. If you live in a city, you will be amazed at the stars you can see in our night sky! The farm is pristine with no garbage or polution.

We are only 45 minutes from a Robert Trent Jones golf course, 20 minutes from Greenville, 45 minutes from Millers Ferry on the Alabama river, 50 minutes from Montgomery, and a hour and half drive to the beaches. We are conveniently located as a base of exploration for many sights and experiences of Alabama.
