I have been using hotmail.com, for my email, for many years. It is my established email addresse where all my friends and business associates know to communicate with me. Up untill the recent new version I have always been happy with it and have had no problems.

In this case they should have listened to the tried and true phrase - If it isn't broken don't fix it! The new version is a miserable failure! It is so slow that it becomes very frustrating to use. I dread the prospect of even checking my email, let alone maintenance! When you attempt to select emails and delete them, or take any other action for that matter, it seems that you could empty a bottle of thick syrip before your task is finished! I run regular maintance, on my computer, and it performs all other task at normal speed. So I am confident the problem lies on their end! Their new version is a pitiful example of an email site. I have complained several times and there has been no improvement. The function would be extremely and vastly improved if they would revert back to the older version. At this point, I can only hope that things will get better. So far it hasn't! If they don't do something to improve the performance, soon, I will be forced to change my main email to another platform. I really do not want to do that, but I may be forced. The current performance is unacceptable!

If you are searching for a new email platform or you are considering using Outlook/hotmail.com, don't waste your time. Gmail.com is a much better place to go!
