Here in The Uniteed States, we have Our Memorial Day Weekend Holiday coming up! It is an Awesome holiday to go camping! People like to set up their campsite and break out the Barbaque grill and cook their favorite foods. This often consists of steaks, chicken, porkchops, hotdogs, and hamburgers. It is a great time to get the family together and enoy Nature!
Murchison Farm's primitive campground offers a great place to get away from the beaten path. We opened the farm, last year, to the general public as a primitive campground and are not very well known yet. We have only had a handful of campers, both last year and this year, so far. The People who have come camping, with us, have given us a 5 star rateing and highly reccomend us! You can see photos and find information, about us, on Facebook. We have 2 ponds. One is about 5 acres and 10ft deep at its deepest point. The other is only about an acre, but, it is over 20ft deep. Both ponds have fish and campers are welcome to go fishing. We take a protion of camping proceeds and restock the ponds when we have enough money saved up. We also have a beautiful creek with high banks and big hardwood trees that cover it with their limbs and leaves. It is a ver cool place to be in the summer heat! We have many trails for hikers and riders. We are pet and equine friendly! You can even bring your ATVs and ride the trals. The lack of any serious light polution makes our night skies a perfect backdrop for the myrid stars.
We hold an annual Military Appreciation event, each year, where United States Veterans and Active Military can come and camp for free! They receive a 50% discount at all other times. The farm is pristine and beautiful. At the current time we have no customers booked for Memorial Weekend. That means that you could have the entire farm to yourself. If you want to get away, from all the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy the quiet and peace of nature, then this is the place for you.
