Hello Everyone! Hope You are having a Blessed and prosperous day!

Blackberry season is in full swing, at Murchison Farm! Even though I had high hopes of making some Blackberry pies, jelly, and wine, I doubt very much that it will happen this year. Yes we have a bumper crop of berries, but, we have a tremendous population of birds, this year, that are feeding on the sweet juicy berries! There are a huge number of berries, but, they are disapearing almost as fast as they get ripe! If one were persistent, and tried not to eat too many picked berries, It is possible to get enough for some pies and maybe a little jelly. It would be very hard, indeed, to pick enough to make some of that delicious Blackberry wine!

Bird lovers would have a blast, camping with us, this year. There is a tremendous variety of all types of birds, on the farm. It is very enjoyable to hike, around Murchison Farm, pick berries to eat, and observe the various different types of birds. All different types of color flits among the branches and a chorus of Bird song fills the sweet fraigranced air!
