 ¿De qué trata?

  Recordemos primero que es Winamp: por si eres nuevo, Winamp es un reproductor multimedia para la plataforma Microsoft Windows creado el 21 de abril de 1997 y distribuido gratuitamente por la empresa estadounidense Nullsoft. Sus creadores fueron el programador y hacker Justin Frankel y Dmitry Boldyrev; posteriormente existió un equipo de programadores dedicados al desarrollo de Winamp.

  Como verán, es una de las aplicaciones que definió a una generación, pues quien no lo tenía instalado en su computadora mientras escuchaba su colección de música al trabajar o hacer tareas escolares. Tiene la particularidad de usar pocos recursos durante su ejecución y tener una interfaz de usuario sencilla y fácil de usar, además de ser una de las primeras aplicaciones para Windows en adoptar el concepto de carátulas o pieles (skins) como vimos en el artículo anterior, mediante las cuales es posible cambiar por completo la apariencia de la interfaz gráfica.   Debido al avance de la tecnología los reproductores multimedia han tenido que ir evolucionando y Winamp no es la excepción, han tenido que adoptar el modelo de Streaming para seguir siendo del interés del público; sin embargo no se ha dado por vencido, al contrario quiere llegar a las nuevas generaciones. Aquí es donde entramos de lleno a la teoría de la conservación de la materia, pero aplicado principalmente a Winamp. 

  Si ingresan a : https://player.winamp.com/fanzone/discover/music encontrarán la versión Beta de Winamp con estas nuevas funciones; como es versión Beta significa que sigue en desarrollo, por ejemplo en el menú ya menciona Tracks, Artist, Podcast y Radio Stations. 

 Esto es solo el inicio.
